As football season winds down, it is time to start planning a party to watch the Big Game! We are a huge football family and big games always mean special snacks and treats. Â I have teamed up with Dollar General and The Coca-Cola Company to bring you a great pairing for your next game watch party. Â We have been making this dried beef cheese ball recipe in our family for years. It comes together in a snap and is always a crowd pleaser. This delicious recipe can be served with crackers, pretzels or veggies and is perfect for the big game paired with a refreshing Coca-Cola beverage. Are you ready to make some delicious dried beef cheese ball? Here we go:
Gather your ingredients – cream cheese, dried beef lunch meat, green onions and Worcestershire sauce. Trim the green onions and reserve the greens for garnish if desired.
Combine all ingredients in the bowl of your food processor. Pulse until ingredients are well combined.
Scrape the cheese ball onto a sheet of plastic wrap and gently shape into a ball (or football!).
Wrap tightly and refrigerate for several hours or until firm. Garnish your football shaped cheese ball with the tops from the green onions to create laces. Serve with crackers, pretzels or veggies. Paired with an ice cold Coca-Cola, this recipe makes the perfect game day snack or appetizer.

Ingredients
- 1 8oz block of cream cheese
- 1 2oz package of dried beef lunch meat
- Green onions, 1 small bunch, trimmed (reserve greens for garnish if desired)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor. Secure the lid and pulse until well combined. Scrape the cheese ball out of the food processor bowl and onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Shape into a ball and wrap tightly. Refrigerate for several hours or until firm. Serve with your favorite crackers, pretzels or veggies.
- Not in the mood for a cheese ball? This recipe can also be served in a small decorative bowl with a spreader. No food processor? Finely chop the green onions and dried beef with a knife and combine with the other ingredients by hand. The texture of your cheese ball may not be as fine, but it will taste just as good. Need an appetizer for a crowd? Simply double to ingredients to make a bigger batch.
