Hello, friends! I can’t believe it is that time of year again. Wow, the time sure flies by! I really enjoyed looking at the 10 most viewed Ava’s Alphabet posts last year and am excited to share with you the 10 most viewed posts of 2017. It is fascinating to see what you all are most interested in reading and viewing. You will find some of the same hits from last year and also some new arrivals to this list. From recipes to project to party planning, there is something here for everyone. Are you ready? Here we go:
Number Ten – Coconut Lime Foot Soak
It is really no surprise to me that this post landed on the top 10 list again this year. It smells so good that you will seriously want to taste it. And then after a relaxing soak, it leaves your feet feeling refreshed and baby soft. Who couldn’t use a little more pampering in their life, right?
Number Nine – Delicious Dried Beef Cheese Ball
This recipe is always a hit. My mom has been making it since I was a kid and we both still get compliments and requests for the recipe every time we serve it. Staying away from crackers and bread? Serve it with fresh, raw vegetables. It is so, so good!
Number Eight – My Little Pony Inspired Stick Ponies
This post is one of my all time favorites and it is still going strong. My girls continue to play with these stick ponies on a regular basis and after 2+ years, they are holding up amazingly well.
Number Seven – Reflections on Gratitude
I love that this post on gratitude is in the top ten again this year. Practicing gratitude continues to be an important part of my life and I am glad to see that others are drawn to this concept as well.
Number Six – Blueberry Crisp
Nothing says comfort food like a dish of warm blueberry crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This is a simple, satisfying dessert that is delicious at any time of year. Save this recipe! You will not regret it.
Number Five – DIY Paper Pinwheels
I love how easy it is to add a pop of bright color to a party display or to room decor with these easy paper pinwheels. And with all the amazing patterns and colors of paper available, the possibilities are endless.
Number Four – Homemade Handprint Garden Stones
This fun and messy project makes a great keepsake or a thoughtful gift. We are still enjoying our garden stones through their second season. I love to look at them after it has rained to see those sweet little handprints filled up with rainwater.
Number Three – Handprint Fireworks
My handprint firework project also continues to be a fan favorite. I never dreamed that my patriotic craft gone wrong would be so popular and become one of my most viewed posts. Festive and fun for kids of all ages!
Number Two – Finding Dory Inspired Tissue Paper Pom Fish
Number One – 4 Secrets for Successful Succulents
Oh, my stars! I had no idea how interested people have become in succulents. I have had comments and questions from readers all over the world in response to this post. I continue to enjoy my succulents and learn more about them each year, but I am by no means a succulent expert. If nothing else, this post makes me feel like a succulent celebrity though! Hahaha! I might have to consider a follow up post on this topic this year.
