T is for Teacher Appreciation: “Reach for My Dreams” Teacher Appreciation Gift

Teacher Appreciation week 2017 is coming up soon from May 1st through May 5th. I was inspired to put this gift idea together when I came across some heavenly lavender bath soak at my local Target store that aims to help you relax and sleep well. If there is anyone I know that needs some sleep and relaxation (besides new moms), it is teachers! I made up some cute printable tags that I am sharing with you for free later in this post that play on the word “Dream”. Teachers inspire our children to reach for their dreams and our gift this year hopefully inspires teachers to relax and have some sweet dreams of their own.  Are you ready to make your own “Reach for My Dreams” teacher appreciation gift? Here we go:
Supplies
Lavender bubble bath or bath gel (or other sleep related products)
Bath pouf or sponge
Raffia or ribbon
Free printable tags (download below)
White cardstock
Scissors or paper cutter
Hole punch
Instructions
Gather your supplies. Â Remove price stickers from your gifts as necessary.
Download the printable tags above by clicking on either the image or the download link. This document prints out 4 tags on a standard size sheet of white cardstock. Using your paper cutter or scissors, cut each tag out. Add the teacher name and child/family name to the tag using a pen or marker if desired.
Tie a nice sized bow using some ribbon or raffia around the bottle of bubble bath or bath gel. I like the messy, rustic look of the raffia myself.
Punch a hole in the top right corner of your tag.  Thread the raffia through the tag before tying the bow to secure the tag to the front of the bottle. Trim raffia ends as necessary.
Package with a bath pouf, a sleep mask or even a scented candle. Â And just like that, you have a simple, pampering teacher appreciation gift! Sweet dreams, teachers, sweet dreams…
I hope you enjoy this simple little “Reach for my Dreams” teacher appreciation gift idea. What else might you tie these tags to? A coffee mug with some sleepytime tea? I lavender scented eye pillow or heat pack? A relaxation and sleep care package? I would love to hear your ideas in the comment section.
Please be sure to take some time to honor your teachers this year during teacher appreciation week (or any day!). If you don’t have the means to give a gift, please take the time to offer them a note of encouragement, a picture drawn by your child or some heartfelt words of gratitude. After all, caring for and educating our children is one of the most important roles in the world. Happy teacher appreciation week, my friends! Xoxo, -Cristina
